A tribute to Dink
I hope you all will excuse a human intruding into these proceedings, but
I need to offer a tribute to Dink. Dink was a Corgi doggy, and he lived with my son and daughter-in-law. Dink kept them safe and kept them company. When I had to stay with Sean and Katie after a family tragedy, I was warned that Dink was very standoffish and I shouldn't feel insulted if Dink ignored me, as he always ignored anyone except Sean and Katie. I guess Dink had great perception and could tell that I was hurting, because as soon as I sat down on the sofa Dink jumped up beside me and lay down with his head on my knee. I managed to get some wonderful Dink snuggles while I was there. Sean and Katie adopted another Corgi a little while ago, little Fett. Dink schooled Fett on the finer points of Corgi-ing. Dink was greatly loved and will be badly missed. -- D Mahoney |

Living feral for 7 years tends to make a kittah skittish for many years. |
