Fangu, Misty! Yes, having the help of your magical powers will certainly

help a lot! I'm afraid that my human was very derelict in his duties this

year and provide the kind of secretarial support we need, but we'll

muddle by anyway.



I believe that BobQat and Mimzy. from Mosey's household,are just now

arriving to take care of the signin table. Oh, and I see that Hercule

Lenoir just showed up, and his orchestra is arriving as well. Things are

starting to get busy!

OK Amelia now that the cushions have been spread out. I went over to the entry way and created a very nice Black and Gold Welcome Banner.

Who has the "Mint Tea" Concession Stand. "Bobcat" really likes that stuff so I will need to pick some of that up before I leave.

All the decorations now seem to be in place and all that remains to be done is to finish building the various stages for the band, story telling, dancing, etc. I assume that is where Harri Roadcat went off too?!? I just hope they can pull it all together before the Moon rises tonight. BTW: Who is the MC this year?!? Are you and Harri going do the honors as the hosting couple?? Do we even *have* a host?!? If not I'd be willing to be a stand-in. Bonnie the Black Panther, my great, great, great grandmother, I know did it a few times so I guess it can't be too hard... right?!? The only problem is that I don't have an escort, or even a "wink-wink". You and Harri would be a logical pick -- assuming Harri can get rid of that silly hard-hat of his and cleans himself up a bit -- OK a LOT (murph, murph, murph) -- between now and the rising of the Moon.

Mist, hello! Welcome. We're running a little behind schedule this
year. We still need to get some cushions spread around the meadow
on Iwo Jima, and some decorations set up in the ballroom here on
Cat Island. Would you be interested in helping with either of thise?

Lucy Lu & Samwise are rushing around unpacking boxes. "Here are the
rest of the decorations for the ball. Some of the kitties here on cat
island should be here soon to help us set up."

As Cash and Iowna head to the kitchen, Cash gets snagged to help hand
ornaments and carry boxes. He looks longingly at the kitchen with all
the treats and sighs. Iowna just laughs and follows her nose to the
smell of fud.

(Silently, ghosties start helping with putting out soft beds on Iwo
Jima in little conversational groups and mounting umbrellas to give
shade to some so direct sun is a choice. They also setup a little
beach bar with lots of drinks and a table for foods that matches the
one on cat island. One ghosty silently whispers to a RB kittah who
runs off then comes back with a pad that makes it easy to jump from
place to place. She shows him how it works and they set it up and then
they can see cat island.)

Wootoo, Wascal, Little Samantha and an elegant white girlcat that no
one has met yet step out of a porter. The newcat is creamy white but
she has a little multi-color "cap" of her own fur on her head. It
looks like French cap with cat ears sticking up out of it. WooToo:
Sammy, go to da medow an start spredding cushums aroun for kittys an
other folk to sit on. The little dog bounces over to start, looking
around for the doggy that she has been told wants to dance with her
Wascal, stay wiff me an we will inroduse people to ShaNELL Sammy
placed two or three cushions here and there but then started playing
fetch with herself, chasing and throwing cushions. WooToo: I can SEE
yoons. BeHAFE'

Cash who wants to dance with Samantha is stuck with 3 wreaths on his
head lifting them up for other kittahs decorating the ball room. They
are also loading his tail tip end for him to lift up for reaching
kittahs on ladders.

He sniffs though and knows Samantha is there! He knows his duty but
grins at the others and sez 'when you don't need me no more, I'z
getting fuds fur mai Samatha anna me ok?'

As he helps, he sniffs friendly in her direction as kittahs smirk
kindly and work fast to free him up.

cat run now has a sort of agility course with mechanical mice that not

only run fast as real ones, but make crazy red dots you has to chase.

- One is fur fast kittahs anna you beter watch out! Dez Laught at you

Cash wuz helping in the ballrum. I'z wus getting him treats (ok, a few

cuddling over Aunti Mabel.

He licks at a grey one and with a sad expression tried to wipe his
tounge off discretely on a bit of carpet.

Being ever polite, he suggests perhaps that one recipe works fur
kittahs? He then trised the Oranj one and likes it a lot!
