I was really enjoying getting back into the group again. I have got to
find a newsreader with a killfile becuase apparently I don't have the
self-control to just skip over posts. I keep saying that but sheesh I
keep thinking things will just get better. I guess not.

My recommendation is Thunderbird - the message filter functions work
really well. Take a look at http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/

Look. To be frank I am not interested in what's posted on the other group.
If anyone wants to flame and be insulting, let them do it there. Some like
a good fierce argument but rpca is not the place to bring it.
I really don't care what a member here posts on another group.
I shall not say "wow, this is not the person I thought they were." if I
made aware of it.
What I am saying is keep the nasty flaming posts away from here.

This is a refuge for a lot of people.

She lives in Texas. It's legal there to use deadly force to protect
your property. That's why he wasn't indicted. The account I read in the
paper said the guys were leaving with his stolen car, in a stolen tow
truck. The owner just opened fire and blew six rounds into the cab of
the truck, hitting one guy in the head. Mindboggling.


It is also true that in Texas a man accused of murder got off using the
defense that the victime "needed killing."
