I've tried lots of catnip flavored treats and my cats just ignore them. The only thing they get excited about are Friskies Dental diet dry food (those yellow balls), but I'd like to have some variety. thanks Judy F Casey absoltely adores the Salmon flavored "Luv" brand that Purina makes...not sure if they are available in USA, but they are all over in in Canada.. http://www.purina.ca/products/purina...at/default.asp Carrie |

Matilda doesn't care for treats containing ground yellow corn so I don't buy
commercial cat treats for her. The things she considers to be good treats for her are the occasional water packed sardine, egg yolk or slurp of table cream. Judy "Judy F" wrote in message ... Matilda doesn't care for treats containing ground yellow corn so I don't buy commercial cat treats for her. The things she considers to be good treats for her are the occasional water packed sardine, egg yolk or slurp of table cream. I bet she loves those My cats like treats like cantelope, yogurt and chicken livers. I wish I could give them sardines but I'm allergic to fish. Does anyone have any suggestions for treats for cats? I've tried lots of catnip flavored treats and my cats just ignore them. The only thing they get excited about are Friskies Dental diet dry food (those yellow balls), but I'd like to have some variety. thanks Judy F How about the freeze-dried fish or shrimp that's available? I bought the shrimp (brand was "Shrimp-purrs") and Tucker loves those. And it's natural too. Another favorite is Whiskas "Crunch" treats. They come in a small Pringles-like can. Low-fat and very tiny treats. I can trick both cats into thinking they're getting something "big." Also, a big hit is sort of a treat--fresh, but frozen catnip. Gets me through the winters when nothing grows outside. |

My cat (and every cat I have ever come across) loves Kukamunga (I think
thats how you spell it) catnip treats. I only have to shake the tin and she's straight there! It's really strange becasue she doesn't like catnip at all generally but I think these treats have some meat derivatives in them too. They sell them in most (UK) pet shops.
