Default Wanted - Long haired red in SE of England

This evening our beloved cat had to be put to sleep. We had no warning
signs, the vet told us he had cancer, he was only 8 and there is nothing
we
could have done to prevent it or cure it. He was like one of the kids and
the family are in deep deep shock. Some people would wait before getting
another cat, but we would like to replace him asap to help us get over our
grief and give a kitten a very loving home. What we are looking for is a
long haired ginger cat like the one we have lost. If anyone knows anyone
who
has one for sale we would be very grateful :-)

Thanks in advance

We are in SW Hertfordshire UK but can travel 20-30 miles surrounding

Hi I'm very sorry for your loss, it is never easy!
I really wouldn't recommend looking for another cat look a like to
replace yours. A friend can never be replaced and it will only prolong
the grieving process. Your cat was his own personality and should only
be remembered. When a loved one dies, family member, child, mother,
father do you look to replace them? No it's not possible nor should it
even be considered for pets. They are not items to purchase and replace
they are family members also. WIthout this acknowledgement and
acceptance replacing him only do more harm in the long run.
Take care, JQ
