Today was a first.
My Antonio, who I found in my front yard as a tiny kitten, has never
been a lap cat. He came and sat on my lap today. Not bad for after a year and a half. |

That's such a special moment. It took years with Fenda too, she was an eighteen-month old semi-feral when we adopted her. Jeanette |

I miss the way that Fenda shadowed me, she always wanted to be close to us. I miss her silly little wet tongue that stayed stuck out after she'd cleaned herself because she was too dopy to put it back in her mouth. And I miss the feel of Izzi's fur until my hand, she was the most strokeable, velvety cat I've ever shared my life with. I miss Izzi's glares and complaints, and the way she always expected me to put the world to rights for her express comfort. Thank you Sherry, it's nice to get the chance to talk about them.
