Default Apache's worried adoptive mother (grin)

I was outside talking to the young lady who lives upstairs. She has
three kids, and we were talking about Pilot and the kitten.

When she asked if we had any cats in the apartment, I went inside and
brought out Apache, who immediately went into continuous distress meows,
both from being picked up and from being brought outside.

Pilot and Other Cat both pricked up their ears and gave me "What are you
DOING to that poor little girl kitty?!" looks. I put Apache back inside,
and invited the worried parents inside so they could check out Apache.
Pilot looked very ready to do so. Apparently she is adopting Apache on
sight and sound as her other kitten.

I had two cats, litter mates, who both gave birth at about the same time. Immediately all eight kittens were put together by the two mammas, and nursed and mothered by both. (That was in the 1950s) Toci

A friend of mine had the same experience! (The two moms would spell
each other, so each had time to pursue other interests, as well as
nursing duty.)

LOL. That question could have generated a LONG answer!
