Default Cats & The Holidays

Does anyone here give their cats presents for Chanukah or Christmas? Both
Isis and Jade will be getting gifts this year for Chanukah.

Any tricks to keep them out of the tree. I don't remember Tiggy being a
problem with it when she was a kitten but Boots is a maniac.

We always pick up something for our furkids for Xmas...usually mice or
balls. Of course, they have most of their fun with the Xmas tree, and
trying to unwrap presents (sigh).

I have two cute kitten sox I fill for TuTu --a can of food and a
couple of small toys. The only thing that interests her is the food!

I never hang anything good or breakable at the bottom of the tree. Ralf used
to like to bat at ornaments occasionally. With Boots I fully expect to see
his cute little face peeking out of the artificial tree somewhere up around
the angel at the top.

I haven't figured out any yet! I just don't hang any ornaments that are
breakable, or that I'm too attached to, at the bottom of the tree. We
use an artificial tree, so they don't have much luck climbing it (I'm
assuming they try). We don't use icicles, of course (except for the tin
ones, which are rigid and only a good toy if they bat them around on the
floor - certainly they aren't edible!).
