Cat Meowing
Ok....give me your opinion.....is my cat spoiled ? She will meow at
the top of her lungs...but when I go and sit beside her then she stops.....If I leave...then she will sometimes start meowing again until i return to her side. Does she have me trained ??!! And any suggestions on how to help her refrain from this ? Maybe a car tranquilizer ??!!! Thanks |

In article ,
enlightened us with... Ok....give me your opinion.....is my cat spoiled ? She will meow at the top of her lungs...but when I go and sit beside her then she stops..... Sounds like my Isis. If I leave...then she will sometimes start meowing again until i return to her side. Does she have me trained ??!! Yes. *g* And any suggestions on how to help her refrain from this ? Stop responding. Ignore it. Although many of us like to have our cats "talk" to us. You can also encourage her to come to you instead by calling her and offering a treat when she meows. Maybe a car tranquilizer ??!!! They make tranqs for cars?? *LOL* -- ------------------------------------------------- ~kaeli~ Press any key to continue or any other key to quit. She seems to be ok now....she stared this after I got home form
vacation for 9 days. My roommate was also out of town and we had a friend to come over and watch the house while we were gone. I think it was the seperation. She has done that before. Now she is back to her old self.....none the worse for wear !! On Sat, 30 Aug 2003 11:48:01 -0600, m. L. Maybe a radio turned on would make her more comfortable. |

Sounds like your training is coming along just fine. ;-))
I think kitty was letting you know that you were missed and you better not do it again. My boy went for a holiday for a week and when I got him home he gave me what for but his little paws were kneading while he was walking and he did not shut up for three days straight and he was not letting me out of his sight. He is a beautiful black boy with big green eyes and he is such an affectionate fella. Saffyr |
