I was told I can have flat bread because there is no yeast in it, but after eating two of them this week, I finally read the ingredients and there *is* yeast in them, a little anyway. So that's off the list now, and the Naan bread has sugar. My lunch today was a pancake made without sugar, but with blueberries instead. It was OK but would have been better with a half cup of maple syrup, which I'm not allowed, nor even artificial sweeteners. I'm learning that rice cakes with almond butter can be quite good, if you're hungry enough. All this because the doctor suspects, *suspects* mind you, that I might have a low grade yeast infection in my blood, or mold. No mushrooms, no nuts, because they sometime get mold on them, except walnuts and almonds and a couple of others I can't remember, because they are less likely to have it. Hance the almond butter. However pasta and tomatos are still on the good list, so that will be supper tomorrow. I do get to eat any vegetable so it's brussel sprouts and onions with something tonight, like maybe whole grain rice, and I'll work the juice of half a lemon in there somehow. I think I've lost an inch off my waist since Wednesday. I haven't really measured, but my pants fit more easily. I started to put on weight a couple of weeks ago, after settling in to my new home. I'm getting some bicycling in as well with the warmer weather, but we have freezing rain forecast for the next 4 days, (not a lot of it I think, but everything closes down during a storm over here in Nova Scotia. -- Peace, Fred (Remove FFFf from my email address to reply by email). |

Fangu, Stormee. I do put blueberries in the pancakes, but bananas
are not allowed. The doctor said they have too much sugar. I don't know the sugar content of berries or bananas so I just trust the human TED. Yes, me too. They are especially good in pancakes and banana loaf.
Today I've been eating rice cakes. Well, they are actually quite good if you have almond butter on them. I get addicted to them, especially if the rice cakes are the salty ones. I finished my jar of almond butter today, or I'd still be eating them. Fred Lucy wrote: Trudi is sayen she likes bnanas cuz der sweet. Lucy Fred wrote: You've lost me, Stormee.
