Here's a link to a less biased account of the story, which has
nothing to do with President Bush, but with the Federal Fish and
Wildlife Service. You have to watch for outright lies from any
story originating from the Washington Post and/or the LA Times (and
many others). It's only a handful of species that are being
considered, and it is to supposedly encourage third world countries
where these animals are treated poorly to adopt better conservation
programs.

Agreed. The NY Times, The LA Times, The Chicago Tribune, the San
Fransico Chronicle, and ALL the newspapers who get their news feed
and articles from these papers are very suspect these days as all of
them are politically LEFT of center to a considerable degree.

As to the vulgar comment as to who votes for whom, I would hope
there would be more than one issue that voters consider. And that
they'd check their sources. I'd hate to think that we are a nation
of simpletons.

Think it because, it's true. Don't stay in denial. These are the
people the Democrats appeal to.

Nothing to worry about really. It´s not that simple. There´s an
international agency of which the USA is a member that regulates the
trade of endangered species. Every species that leaves the country
*must* have documentation of precedence (a hunter cannot go and get
one in the wild). For example, if the pandas in some Chinese zoo has
offspring and this zoo does not wish to keep them, this zoo can sell
them to other zoos around the world. These animals *cannot* be taken
from their wild habitats. This trade is highly regulated by all
members and most countries in the world are members.

It seems that revealing the truth will be branded as left of center
these days by some.
