Happy Acquisition Day, Harri Roadcat!
It was one year ago today that Harri's previous caretakers drove from
Illinois to a truck stop in central Missouri and brought Harri Roacat to meet me. That began a wonderful adventure. Being stuck driving that truck was an ordeal but Harri made the ordeal much more bearable. She broke the loneliness and a large part of the boredom, provided great amusement, and being able to take her out for the walks she enjoyed so much brought great happiness. She continues to be a vital part of my life. Though we don't go walking nearly as often (she has pretty much lost interest in walking and isn't nearly as interested in road trips as sheused to be), we continue to share a wonderful bond.
