It may take time, but I sure hope it works out. Pit2nya is fine with cats in her rescue home, but I guess in her 'olny kitty' home may be different. What is the name of that calming product? If yu iz kareful tu keep outa thu way uf thu pointy end uv her, uf corse. Sam, thu slow lerner. It can take quite a bit of time. I'm inclined to the 'turn them loose together and let them sort things out themselves' school of thought, although it can't be applied in all cases. I nearly gave up trying to introduce Betsy to Mandy (both now RB), but they eventually adjusted, even Mandy, Empress of the Universe. There was a point at which the only thing keeping me going was the certain knowledge that if Betsy were dumped out on the street or given to the overcrowded shelter, her days would be numbered, and extremely brief. Few people want a semi-feral adult scaredy-cat, but she became a most affectionate pet. Sam and Cinnamon settled down much more quickly, although Sam still has a certain fascination for that big bushy slowly twitching tail. Cinnamon does not appreciate having her tail used as a cat toy. -- Cheryl

some settle qickly and some don't. Lizzie because I think she was always an
out cat but owned by someone, Is having a rougher time of it. But, they don't all growl as much and they are getting the pecking order sorted out. Kept her locked up after her spay until she was healed, by that time, I figured they were used to her smell. That feline defusor stuff seems to help in a log of cases. "Cheryl" wrote in message ...
