Default Blacktop and Cats

ANyone have experience with blacktopping on cats' paws?

It's this stuff, coal tar, that people put on their driveways
to prevent the things from whatever.

Anymore driveways and there won't be a water table,
but that's another ng.

I see the door open, okay, my cat is so smart she won't
go out where someone is blacktopping, but will go upstairs.

Wrong.

A little on her paws, call the vet's office, don't worry,
let it wear off, anything to take it off would be worse.

Then the really dumb part occurs.

I go out. I put some blacktop on my paws. I get a little
alcohol pad to take it off, what you get in gas stations,
little toilette thingees.

AHA!

So I open the door to get the cat, and voila, escaped
over a bunch of blacktop.

I'm beside myself with whatever. Opened the door carefully,
but had the toilettes in one had and she just shot out.

I am not giving out her name to protect the innocent.

So tried what, kitty shampoo.

Tried Laxatone, a kitty laxative which is petroleum based
so not dangerous.

Tried detergent, alcohol, Gojo a lanolin based cleaner.

Then have to wash off whatever I tried.

Nothing is working so it will have to wear off.

Pretty little pink paws have black spots.

Next is pumice stone and Laxatone together, don't know
how long she will let me give her a pedicure.

Presoak, Ive been super dumb all week long.

As long as she doesn't start worrying at it with her teeth, I think you will
just have to let it wear off! Poor pink paws.
