Default Cat collars to keep them from scratching, etc

I order my Litter Locker refills via the internet cause even with
shipping, if I order four, they're much, much less expensive than at a
pet store. My order arrived from Jeffers Pets and also contained a
little catalogue ( http://www.jefferspet.com) .

Several of you have mentioned surgeries, allergies causing itching,
etc., where your cats have to wear the 'Elizabethan' collar. There is an
item in the catalogue called a 'Bite Not' collar. The pic in the
catalogue shows a cat, but the one on the site shows a dog. But they
look much more comfortable than those big things. Straps on using
velcro. They're $19.95.

Here's what they say about it:

'Bite Not' Dog & Cat Collars

A comfortable & easy-to-use alternative to the Elizabethan collar.
Allows pet to eat drink, sleep, play, run up stairs & around corners &
even sit on laps. With these collars, your pet's peripheral vision is
unimpeded making them calmer & happier. Collars are made of flexible
plastic & are secured by Velcro®, elastic wrap-around strap & harness
strap, which wraps around your pet's chest.

(In case anyone's interested)

I just like the name "Elizabethan collar." I think about the cat or
dog going around saying "Zounds!" and "Forsooth!"
