I was preparing myself for SEVERAL sprays, with Smokey being adult, male, unneutered, feral...but from the day we brought him home, he's never sprayed. He knew he was onto a good thing! Lesley Slave of the Fabulous Furballs I've heard they only spray if there are other males around, and they feel the need to 'mark' to warn the other male off. Perhaps this is why he doesn't...it's safe, so to speak. |
