I got a REAL purr!
I was lying down on the bed, and Apache was nearby. I turned toward her, gave her a hug, a tummy rub and a kiss on the head, and she gave me a nice rumbly purr that I could actually hear! Hugs and Purrs, Mark

I got a REAL purr!
The only time I hear Amber purr is when I pet her before I get out of
bed. Tiger purrs a lot but I usually don't hear him. I can tell by watching his body pulsate. When he purrs, his breathing rate doubles. ---MIKE--- In the White Mountains of New Hampshire (44� 15' N - Elevation 1580')
