Iowna's Birthday!

" Harri, that was so much fun. " Lucy Lu takes off her skies. " I'm
going to get some nip tea. Would anyone one like some? I can bring back
a tray with some nip tea and food."

Fangu, Lucy Lu, that would be great. Maybe as soon as I get back to the
dock again.

Harri

Iowna wakes from a nice nap and hears all the fun! She sniffs Harri and
asks if she can have a ride?

Harri grins and fits Iowna into a lifejacket (cat size medium large).
Daisy-chan jumps into the seat to balance the weight (size medium
lifejacket). Cash noses up but thinks he's too heavy for this trip hen
he notices, there is a glass bottom!

He asks Harri, if he lays quitely on the floor in the middle to watch
the fishie life below, if his 52lbs would be a problem next ride?

Meantime, Iowna and Daisy-chan want SPEED! Cash ever the gentleman,
ceeds this ride to the ladies and hopes he can catch a slower one
later. He's also eyeing a set of water boards and wondering if he can
water skate on them...

Cash, you is furry welcome to come along on da next ride. Should be
purroblem at all! Dere is a great view of da fishies an things through
da glass bottom.

Iowna grabs the handrail and hangs her head to the breeze with a huge
grin while Daisy-Chan duigs in nice and secure into the ropes there
just for this purpose. A little seatbelt is adjusted about them so they
don't fly out if there is a wave and off they go!

WHEE! WUFFWUFFWUFF! SQUEE!! They bank turns and seem to fly sideways
at times over the water. Cash watches with a grin from the shore and
for just a moment, wishes he were a toy poodle... He shakes his head as
he chuckles at the image. No, he's a big boy and he gets the next ride.

He hopes Harri has a special fun to view fishie spot! There will be
room for others to fit all around him and still see through the bottom.

He's heard from the TV that there are plant looking animals down there
that attach to rocks and live all their lives that way, never walking
around. So strange! Then there's 5 legged animals and he feels sorry
they have 5 because obviously 4 is superior since them 5 legged ones
move really slow trying to figure it all out.

she opens the throttle a little wider and aims the canoe for the ramp
that Lucy Lu had jumped on her skis. She gets the canoe lined up square
with the ramp, opens the throttle all the way, and the canoe takes off
flying before splashing back into the water.]

all the ocean smells hit at once. She feels a little sorry for
Daisy-chan as her nose is sharp but not as much as that of a beagle so
she is missing much of this trip. They bank and Iowna sniffs fresh
seaweed of a sort then they bank to the left and a lovely blue smelling
seaweed comes to the fore. She sticks her head out and lets the wind
fill her nose and fliter across her tounge.

Meantime in the distance Daisy-chan is awed as a whale jumps. She
feels a little sorry Iowna can't see it but she knows her friend is
having fun just the same. In fact, she's getting whacked by Iowna's
happy tail but she doesnt mind.

As they cruise slowly, they spot large fishes and small fishes and dark
shadows just a little too deep to make out clearly. Harri then maneuvers
them over a shallow area, when starfish and anemones can be seen, the
starfish crawling slowly and the anemones waving.]

Hey, Cash, you want to get a REALLY close look at the unnerwader critters?

[Cash grins and wags in the affirmative]

Ok, let's see if I can remember what Amelia said about how she set this
up. I have to flip this switch - and turn this control to maximum - and
set this down really low - ah, then I just have to push this button...

[As Harri pushes the last button the breeze that had been tickling their
furs stops, being replaced with a gentle hiss of bottled air. A flying
fish leaps out of the water beside them, aiming for the far side of the
canoe, but it runs into an unseen barrier and drops back down into the
water where it jumped.

Harri then flips another switch, turning on bright lights at the front
and sides of the canoe. A firm tug upwards on the tiller sends the nose
of the canoe down - and under the water! The canoe slips under the
water, and the invisible barrier proves to be some kind of field that
holds the water at bay. Harri pilots the submarine canoe down to the
bottom of the bay, and she and Cash spot octupuses slithering along,
lobsters scuttling away from the unusual light levels, and all sorts of
other sea-bottom creatures moving around.

As they cruise and admire the marine life a large orange fish approaches
them. It swims right up to the barrier and presses it's nose against it.
Cash reaches out a paw and touches the barrier at the same point, and is
amazed to feel the texture of the fish's nose!

As continue to explore, Cash sees something dark moving in the distance
and barks at Harri to check it out. As they approach the unidentified
something they see that it has 4 legs and a tail, appears to be all
black, and has a big bulbous head. When they get just a few feet away it
notices the light from the canoe and turns toward them - and it turns
out to be a kitty in a wet suit and wearing a pressurized helmet! Harri
picks up a microphone and meows into it.]

Hey, Jocko, I din't know you was here too! Hi! You gonna come up on da
beach wif us later?

[Jocko nods in the affirmative, then waves goodbye and swims off.

Harri and Cash explore out past the breakwater, until they find where
the sea bottom drops off sharply. Neither of them feels like exploring
the really deep areas, so Harri turns them back towards shore. She then
gives the tiller a push down, and the canoe noses back up to the
surface. Once there Harri disables the field, cranks up the throttle,
and she and Cash laugh as the wind blows their furs around. When they
get back near shore Harri figures that nobody else is going to wanting a
ride right away. She warns Cash "snuggle down low and hold tight", then
she aims the canoe at a deserted stretch of beach and runs the boat
right up onto the sand.]

Ah, yes. Time fur some fudz! How was that, Cash?

Cash saunters up to Harri with a devil may care grin and offers a lick.
Politely he makes his tounge mostly dry and winks at her. She screws
her eyes up for a doggie lick, only to get a very gentle tip to her
nose. It feels a lot like a nose boop. Cash then offers to let her
climb his back out of the canoe as they sniff all the food.

Cash's mind is full of wonderful underwater things he'd never have seen
without Harri's trip. In a special treasure, he saw a seahorse peeking
out from what looked (to Cash) like a bit of lettuce.

He catches up with Daisy-chan and tries to explain there was a 5foot
down there that was bright blue and moved kinda slow but Daisy-chan
looks a bit disbelieving. She afterall, has never seen a starfish.

Cash just grins at Harri and thanks her again.

along, going airborn every time it rides up a wave. Aiming for the

the ramp, then continues to rise as the canoe makes a complete back flip
in the air! It then falls back to the surface of the bay with a huge splash.

dolphins playing nearby, so Harri merges with them. When they jump out
of the water, so does the canoe. The dolphins head out to deep water, so
Harri turns back to the bay. They examine the deepest parts of the bay,
and when they see pretty marine life Harri triggers the nose camera.

When the air starts to get a little stale in their protective force
bubble, Harri again aims for the shore. This time she doesn't bother to
surface first. The canoe adjusts it's pitch so that it parallels the
bottom as it climbs, and at the last minute the canoe pops up out of the
water and again slides several lengths onto land. Harri then disables
the force bubble system.]
