For me it isn't an acceptable risk... and neither is letting kitty
outside of the house. So, kitty stays inside the house and is very happy
doing so.

You can look at the transformer to see the voltage rating, then go to Rat
Shack to buy one that supplies more voltage.

This works with anything run by an electric motor.
