Tessie's favourite toy
Tessie's favourite toy is a ratty old red pompom ball that came off
one of those 'kitty teaser gloves'. She'll pick it up and carry it around the house and drop it at your feet and meow at you until you throw it for her to chase. The thing is really old and gross now, so I went looking for a new one. Today I bought her two big fluffy pompom balls, one red and one yellow. Only they're not good enough for her - she nosed them for a few seconds and left them lying in the middle of the living room floor and went back to her sacred red pompom. I just realised why she's not interested in them - THEY DON'T JINGLE! Bad mommy. I'll just have to keep looking... Anybody have any idea where I can get a fluffy red pompom ball with a jinglebell in the middle? |

Anybody have any idea where I can get a fluffy red pompom ball with a jinglebell in the middle? I had that problem with Archer with his "feather onna stick". It had metallic tassels as well as feathers, and all the feather had come off and it had just one twisted up mauled tassel. I bought feather stick after feather stick, but he still carried that old featherless stick around and played with it ignoring all the new toys. Finally I just left it under the fridge when he knocked it there because he would carry it in his mouth with one end pointed outward and I was afraid he would ram it into something and cause it to ram down his throat. He'll still play with other toys, but hasn't since found one that he loved like he did that stick. I think I have a video of it, let's see... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flI3mRn76ro Anyway, how about just buying another hand sock thingie and take it from that one? -- Hugs, CatNipped See all our masters at: http://www.PossiblePlaces.com/CatNipped See the RPCA FAQ site, created by "Yowie", maintained by Mark Edwards, at: http://www.professional-geek.net/rpcablog/ Email: L(dot)T(dot)Crews(at)comcast(dot)net |
