Default Phoebe's gang of TEN and other news

Phoebe’s kittens are seven weeks old today, they have grown so much in the
last couple of weeks, they are eating solid food, using the toilet tray and
I have stopped supplementary feeding them, the littlest girl (Isabella
Petal) the one I was so worried about weighed in this morning at a whopping
530gs – the biggest boy weighs 850gs.

They are very active; I am pleased that I had that gate installed half way
up the stairs. My legs look like I have done a ten mile hike through
blackberry bushes, as I seem to have at least half a dozen little bodies
dangling from different parts of my anatomy, their little claws are needle
sharp!! (And their teeth)

I am starting to wean them off their mother – I put her out in the cattery
during the day and bring her in to spend the night with them – she is
getting feed up with them (as you would when you have TEN) when they try to
feed she sits flat on her tummy and wont roll over for them.

Another five weeks and they will be ready to go to their new slaves.

Freya’s kittens are six weeks old; they too have grown into lovely looking
kittens, they have been on solid food for the past couple of weeks and using
the toilet.

Gigi’s babies were four weeks old yesterday; they are just starting to climb
out of their sleeping box; three can get in and out but the other two just
hang their heads over the side of the box and yowl their heads off; any day
now they will fall out!!
I have seen one kitten in the food bowl.

I bought Bobbi inside on Friday – she is due to have her kittens today.

I wonder why I feel so weary!!!!!

Think it’s time Bev paid me a visit.

Ah spring! (At least it is in your part of the world - we're just
heading into late fall, early winter.)

Are there any new pics? You are probably too busy to take them. Thanks for
the update. I do envy Bev.
Best wishes,
