Ecological disaster after removal of feral cats
Thought this news story might be worth discussing. I have a sister and also
a neighbor that are involved with feral cat control. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090113/...it_infestation As a cat owner, gardener and wilderness outdoorsman I'm well aware of the need to remove exotic species that have become naturalized infestations; not just on remote islands, but also on mainland continents too. Obviously though the Thai environmentalists (sounds like an oxymoron) really blew it. |
