48 hours later

All the cats are normal, eating well and the litter box looks fine. :-/
I'm hoping this was a fluke and everybody is ok. One good thing came out
of this experience though, as I finally went ahead and enrolled the kids
in an insurance plan. I chose the one offered through the ASPCA, as it
is a great organization and their prices were very competitive!

Ah, it's because we feed them that horrible super premium, human-grade,
no fillers, real meat and fish fancy food. If only we returned their
favorite, chinese-fake-protein laden food.... they'd be happy! But that
ain't gonna happen!

We were tidying up a bit and I discovered a bag of hot paprika with
teeth marks on it. I wonder if one of the cats got into the paprika and
it irritated her tummy enough to cause some bleeding?
