Princess is healthy
Just got home from Princess' TED appointment. Just a short note on the
way out the door, but the heading pretty much says everything. She's weighs in right at 7 pounds, is negative for the feline aids, on the whole amazingly healthy for a cat who has been fending for herself while having a litter. Went ahead and scheduled her spay while at TED. I still haven't decided that she's definitely staying here, but I've yet to give one up that I had neutered at TED. Rocky was the only one neutered at the nonprofit clinic that I ended up keeping. Nothing against the nonprofit place, but I think the extra money spent at TED is worth it for any of the ones I plan to keep. The nonprofit clinic is basically snip and send them home. At TED they get complete lab work, along with pain meds for post surgery. 'Course the other difference is that TED costs several times as much. -- Steve Touchstone, faithful servant of Sammy, Little Bit and Spot with loving memories of Rocky (RB) |
