Apparently my monitor doesn't handle fine print well, distorting the
letters into something else. Just now I was reading the newspaper online
when I ran across this: "Donate your cat to Habitat for Humanity. Tax
deductible. No hassle; just one phone call and we'll come haul it away.
Doesn't have to be running."

Well, needless to say that got me to thinking (Hey, there's a first time
for everything!). How much could I deduct from my income taxes for my
three? Since they spend most of their time sleeping, I'm glad they don't
have to be running. It would take little effort to haul this lot off;
all they'd have to do is promise them free tuna. Of course it made
perfect sense to me that Habitat for Humanity wanted cats. I mean,
what's a home without a cat? Apparently they were not just going to give
somebody a bare house, it was going to come complete with cat.

After careful rereading of the text, I have come to the conclusion it
says they want my car, not my cat. Boy, that's a relief.

What a sense of humor! Take care of those furbabies. Thanks for the
laugh. MLB

Yes, print just gets smaller and smaller every year, doesn't it? And now
your monitor is in on the act.
