Dainty Stretch

I have pet steps next to my bed. After Persia taps (or lays a paw on) my
nose to wake me up, when my eyes open she starts to purr. Loudly I get
some gentle kitty kisses/nips on my arm (and sometimes my chin) as I pet her
(and try to wake up). When I say okay, okay, momma up! she gets down on the
top kitty-step. Then she oh so daintily stretches first one front paw, then
the other, before stepping down to the second step. Once her front paws are
on the floor she stretches her back legs. Gotta get the kinks out, don'tcha
know It's so cute! It's a modified version of that long front-to-back
leg stretch cats do. Persia's is more like kitty aerobics performed on a
step platform

She should win some kind of prize for charm. Kitties have such funny little
mannerisms.
