Default MAGI Halder Cat

She sure looks young. I suppose because of her condition. SHe is a cutie!

Hi,

I have just posted to alt.binaries.pictures.animals some images of my
two year old cat MAGI.

She has a health issue in the form of a "portal systemic shunt" but is
doing very well with phenobarbitone for her seizures and various
supplements to keep healthy.

You can see the 'copper coloured iris' effect in her eyes. This has
abated somewhat so they are more of a brown colour now.

I looked at her pictures, what a cutie!! Her eyes are very similar to my
PSS kitten, Ana. Here's a picture of her where you can see the eye color.

It's not the best picture, but she tends to blink or turn her head when I
take a photo.

She's doing pretty well. She's a little sleepier than most kittens her age
are, but she gets bursts of energy and will run around and chase my adult
cats. I had two other foster kittens here and she loved playing with them.
The vet put her on lactulose to help keep the ammonia levels down in her
blood, and she's gained 1 lb over the past month. I'm hoping Ana can live a
somewhat normal life.

Actually, I'm very proud of MAGI and glad the Celia Hammond cat trust
put her our way.

It's wonderful that you took the time to really work with Magi and get her
to a place where she can feel comfortable with humans. I'm glad she found
you. My little Ana was found in a storm drain. I think it's a miracle that
she stayed alive as long as she did. She was all skin and bones when she
was first brought to the shelter.
