OT Plane "crash"
All of the passengers got off the plane safely but I can't help
wondering if there were any pets in the cargo hold. If so, they must have drowned. ---MIKE--- In the White Mountains of New Hampshire (44° 15' N - Elevation 1580') |

I doubt there would have been, it was a "air Bus" type thing and a friend
said there was only what you carried, brief case, purse and such allowed. I was worried about the same thing. "---MIKE---" wrote in message ... The Airbus A380 is the biggest airliner in the world, so "air Bus" type
thing doesn't mean anything. The plane that crashed was an Airbus A320 and it does have a cargo hold. -- Adrian (Owned by Snoopy, Bagheera & Shadow) Cats leave pawprints on your heart http://community.webshots.com/user/clowderuk Granby wrote: I doubt there would have been, it was a "air Bus" type thing and a friend said there was only what you carried, brief case, purse and such allowed. One of the passengers who was interviewed said he was on a golf trip.
This means there had to be golf clubs in the cargo hold. ---MIKE--- In the White Mountains of New Hampshire (44° 15' N - Elevation 1580') |

Excuse my ignorance, I was just going on what the news said that it made
daily runs for business purposes. I can't imagine that with all the media there that if an animal showed up that someone wouldn't see it and report. "Adrian" wrote in message ... All of the passengers got off the plane safely but I can't help
wondering if there were any pets in the cargo hold. If so, they must have drowned. And there must have been far less of them than you'd find in any of the apartment blocks blasted to rubble by the Israeli fascists in the last couple of weeks. ==== j a c k at c a m p i n . m e . u k === http://www.campin.me.uk ==== Jack Campin, 11 Third St, Newtongrange EH22 4PU, Scotland == mob 07800 739 557 CD-ROMs and free stuff: Scottish music, food intolerance, and Mac logic fonts |

Well, of course the rules have changed and become much more restrictive in recent years, but I remember people shoving golf-bags into the overhead bins more than once in the past. |

And I'd like to throttle our local new anchors who must keep reminding us that our local airport has the most problem with birds of any in the US. Most of us can figure that out by looking outside once or twice a year. My timing was good this morning when I drove by the airport. There must have been at least a dozen skeins of birds heading out for the day. And huge skeins of forty of fifty birds each. Jo |
