[OT] Sega

One of the things I like to do when I'm not feeling well or on these
hot, hot days is play with the old Sega Genesis. DH has a Playstation
2, which, of course, will go with him when we divorce, but I don't
care much for it anyway; most of the games seem too difficult for me.
I like simpler games. My favorite Sega games are the "Shining Force"
I and II games. they suit me perfectly. I've tried some others, but
most are too difficult (Beavis and Butthead, Ren and Stimpy).
Jeopardy works fine for me, too :-)

Anyway, I was wondering if, since Sega is such an old system, if any
of you have any old games and/or controllers (mine's dicy) stuck in a
basement somewhere that you'd like to get rid of? I wouldn't even
mind a basketball game at this point -- lol. Let me know here or by
e-mail if you do. And thanks!

And a belated thank you for everyone who wished me a happy b-day. It
was a nice, *quiet* time :-) Sometimes that *is* a good thing!

I love my Sega as well and can't part with any games, however I have a
suggestion. I find mine at yard sales and Ebay, but have you thought of
playing them on your computer? Do a google search for "genesis roms", or
go to http://www.freeroms.com/genesis.htm and download an emulator and
some games. This way you can try them for free and see if you like them
before buying them - they're really not that expensive on Ebay and you know
you like the game so you're not wasting money.

Unfortunately, my computer keeps giving me messages about my hard
drive being full -- lol. But yard sales and Ebay are good ideas.
