Default Mooch's fun and games

This morning I spied on Mooch our resident feral cat out the window
after he'd had his breakfast. He'd eaten seven times but hadn't drunk
water, so I'd left it on the veranda for him, went inside and watched
from the living room to see what he'd do. He had a big drink. Then he
did what ordinary house cats do - he played, all by himself. He leapt
in the air, jumped at a chair, and ran around madly! It's so good to
see a feral cat really enjoying himself.

Obviously, Mooch is a happy cat!

He's very fortunate indeed that he has you to look after him, and let
him live his life on his own terms.

We now have 5 ferals (mom-kitten, old-man dad, and three kittens ~ 2 months
old) now permanently ensconced in our protected jungle we call a back yard.
It is amazingly satisfying seeing them able to relax and play without
worrying where their next Fancy Feast meal will be found. Getting them all
in for the big snip is too daunting for me to think about just now, but
eventually we'll have to, of course, but I can't think about that in this
moment in time.

Bless you for doing so well by one of our little "lost ones".

Thanks. Joyce. I've posted this info to my Facebook page, and also to
Flippy's CatGroup. I Googled the word, and found this photo of a cat
in full zoomie mode!
