Kenzie update 6-12-09
I have been having trouble with my Internet connection; it has to do
with water getting into the old phone lines that are used for my DSL connection. When it rains enough, I lose my connection to the Internet. Thank you for all of your purrs; they seem to be working! Kenzie has had a rough time lately: first she wouldn't eat, and then she started eating again. A few days later, she couldn't keep anything down, including her meds But now Kenzie is eating semi regularly, and more importantly, keeping her food down. I have started her back on the Tapezole, again. I will have to increase the dose slowly, again. Kenzie never had a 'delicate tummy' before, but the most common side effect of Tapezole is nausea and vomiting, unfortunately. So for now, Kenzie is doing much better. Enough to give me hope that her liver and pancreas will improve, once her thyroid is under control by the Tapezole. That is my hope for my precious Kenzie. I want her to stay with me, in good health, for a long time. She is the light of my life, and, my only cat. Many thanks for your purrs, and words of support and encouragement; they are greatly appreciated! ~~~~~~~~~~~~ ^..^ "Life without cats would be only marginally worth living." -TC, and the unmercifully, relentlessly, sweet calico kitty, Kenzie. Every day is a treasure with Kenzie; I try to treat them that way. There will only be so many, and then there will never, ever, be any more. How you behave towards cats here below determines your status in Heaven. - Robert Heinlein |

[human:] Well, this is certainly good news, and I'll say a prayer that she continues to improve so that the two of you can be together for many years. I too have only one cat, and she too is the light of my life; I know how you feel. Give her a hug for me; all the best to the both of you! -Serge -- Purrs, Mme. Anais knows she is your "heart cat" and wouldn't dare get sick.
