Typical Evening

Well we finally got the grandsons packed off home and getting the house
picked up and tucked in for the evening.

Charlie says "have you seen Jake?"

Answer "not since the boys left"

Grumble grumble, closet doors open and shut. Bedrooms rechecked. Behind
blinds checked. Grumble, grumble. (Already been up the ladder to get Jake
off the roof once this evening)

Front door opens and storm door closes and Charlie says "I'm going out to
look for Jake"

Rattle, rattle, knocking on the storm door. Go and look and Charlie is on
the front porch. Jake and Molly are sitting inside the door waiting for it
to open so they can make their escape.

I chase the cats away from the door so Charlie can get back inside.

Muttered comments about cats thay may not reflect well on Jake's excellent
pedigree.
