Need Help: mama cat moving her kittens
My cat, Angel had 5 kittens on Mothers day. Since birth, they have all
stayed in box by my bed covered up by a blanket, she has happily gone in and out of there. Yesterday and today she has been taking one kitten out of the box and moving it to another place(under my dresser). She has been nursing it. THe first time, I put it back in the box and all was fine until today, she has moved it several times. I left it under there thinking she knows what she is doing better than I do, but it was mewing alot when she would leave, my guess is it was cold. Then I went in there a minute ago and she had moved a second one under there. SHe has continued to feed the others in the box too. So I took the whole box and moved it into my closet (where her food is). I will gladly take any suggestions. I have 2 children, 6 and 10 who I have let hold the kittens for about 10 minutes everyday, but my daughter (10)stayed in the room last night for awhile looking at them and petting them(ANgel is her cat). I am assuming that it freaked Angel out, maybe I let my kids be in there too much? ANy advice would be greatly appreciated. I just checked on her, and she is in the box nursing the kittens now. Thanks H |

As soon as she weans those cats, GET HER SPAYED so this doesn't ever happen
again. Have you given any thought to what's going to happen to Angel's kittens when they're old enough to be adopted?
