It's a Halloween comic, but I'm not sure how to take it. I though I
should share it, though.

If somebody understands it, please enlighten me.

Which one? There were several on that page. If you meant the first one
(the ghost kitty), I didn't get it either, but maybe there's not that
much to get. The ghost cat is spending eternity in the same position it
had in life - sleeping? Ha ha ha, cats like to sleep a lot? I don't know.

human does not appreciate it, especially in front of company.

Yes, it's apparently the ghost of the cat who is buried there, but it
doesn't seem funny to me. OTOH, a few of the others did. I really liked
Godzilla vs. Trick or Treaters, for instance.

Ah, I missed the ghost on first viewing. The ghost is what makes it funny,
a cat who is eternally content. Perhaps it's because that's my idea of
heaven that I like it. I'd like to spend eternity "sleeping in" with my
furry friends around me.

The ghost is more easily seen in the enlarged version (click on the comic).

I didn't think it was funny ... 'poignant' or 'moving' is the word I would
use. Definitely 'strange', but that applies to the entire series.

If there is any more to it than the ghost of the cat resting in the
tree above its own grave marker I don't see it. Still, kind of
cute. Don't know who Allesandra is, but its in honor of her
birthday.

I don't think it was supposed to be 'funny', but rather, as a tribute to a
beloved cat. There are many here who have encountered the 'ghost' of a cat
that has gone to RB, sometimes they've been physically gone for *years* but
still bless their slaves with their presence on occasion. All its saying,
IMHO, is that cats have ghosts too, and therefore can be as much part of
Halloween as the ghosts of human beings past.

The "Candy Cornelius" got a snort from me... as did the "Geek Witch" (which
I first misread as "GREEK"... and didn't understand)...

You have to read that comic carefully - much of the time it's pretty weird.

Yes, that's they way I took it; 'poignant'. Not funny, but not in bad
taste, at all, I don't think.

My two RB kitties were laid to rest in my back yard, under my lilac
bushes. I know that they are at the Bridge, but I still go out there to
'talk' to them, from time to time, particularly on special days. And I
leave some catnip there, too. They both loved it so much. I like to
think a little of them stayed behind, to watch over me.
