I daren't read it, Lesley I sleep badly as it is. Karma will eventually get
everyone who abuses the vulnerable. It might take a while but it will
happen, I truly believe that.

It was still disturbing but yes, the cat survived. I really hope they
do more than slap this guy on the wrist. He pretends he didn't know
hanging a cat would kill it. Uh... sure, we believe you. Hence my hang
him from a gibbet comment... we don't really think it will kill you. My
attempt at sarcasm.

Good, it should have been more. He won't have a good time in there, even the
burglars and armed robbers already in there don't like people in jail who
have harmed animals or children. He will need to watch his back.

I'm not. American culture is ridiculously punitive, and I think the
English judge got it about right this time.
