Default Update on Charlie

Went to TED yesterday with hubby in tow, expecting to say good-bye.
When we go there, the vet had news---the stone that was preventing
insertion of the catherter was no longer there; it may have been
dislodged during the bladder surgery, but his bladder was in such poor
condition they could not tell. Anyway, he's "draining" with little
trouble, was sitting up alert and happy to see us--even purred and
moved his head around to make sure we scratched the right spot. He
will remain at TED's til Wednesday, as it still isn't certain that his
bladder will heal, but we at least have reason to be cautiously
hopeful at the moment. Thatis enough of a Christmas gift for me.--Pam
