Lymphoma of the bowel (poop mentioned)
Has anyone had a cat with this? If so, did you see changes in your
cat's stool? The reason I'm asking is that I suspect my cat Peewee has this and has had some weird stool issues - small, hard and dark, othertimes more normal looking but still hard and smallish. Yes, he has been to the vet - two, including a feline specialist, in fact. I chose not to do exploratory surgery/biopsy to properly diagnose him. He is acting fine in all other ways, though he is on a routine treatment for constipation. I'm just wondering if this is a symptom of lymphoma. Thanks, -L. |

My sister's cat had IBD which progressed to lymphoma. What she mentioned was
that the stool was loose and foul smelling. Gail "-L." wrote in message m... Has anyone had a cat with this? If so, did you see changes in your cat's stool? I have to concur with Gail, lymphoma poop is loose and VERY foul smelling. It is probably the worst thing I have ever smelled. Your cat's poop might be indicative of another illness. Have you tried a change in diet? Maybe add some wet food, and perhaps try a high-fiber dry food too. -- -Kelly kelly at farringtons dot net Check out www.snittens.com |
