She's very nervous about it.

If there's any purrs down the back of the lounge or in last year's coat
pockets that you could spare, I'm sure Mum would appreciate them (as would
I).

I'd also like to hear from anyone who has had hip replacement surgery. We're
all hoping that this will return her life to the active vital one she once
had not so long ago - because her hips were so bad she has been a virtual
invalid for hte last year or so. it was very depressing just to see such a
strong fiesty woman (who was considered for Olympic grade discus once) being
so crippled by pain, and I really hope that this does the trick.

Purrs on their way for your Mum. Hip replacements are a big job, but I
understand from people who've had them that they're worth the effort.

Nope, no old purrs hidden away anywhere, but here are a batch of
spanking fresh ones, just for your mum! I hope it goes very well and
that she can lead an active happy life again.

Purrs en route.
At around age 79 my mother had a hip done and it gave her a new lease of
life, even though she had little bone left to put the new ball into. I
expect your mum will do even better.

Purrs again

Purrs and best wishes for your mother. We hope the surgery
goes/went well and that she's on her feet soonest.

Purrs for your mum to come through the surgery with flying colors. I
haven't had the surgery, but my FIL did back in the '60's. He got
along fairly well, and would have gotten along much better if he had
listened to the doctor and did the prescribed exercises.

Purrs and Hugs,

Nan and the furkids
