However all my previous cats have maybe had a few problems to start off with as most have been very abused by previous owners but what ever they have turned out like, I have never given up on them, and they all turned out to be brilliant cats. -- Panther TEK: Staying On Top Of All Your Computer Needs! www.members.cox.net/catprotector/panthertek Cat Galaxy: All Cats, All The Time! www.catgalaxymedia.com "~*SooZy*~" wrote in message ... yes I agree, much better way to chose a cat........
much nicer for the cat too :-) rec.pets.cats.breeds is a brilliant idea... I am a cat lover be it purebreds or moggies and I hate up setting the people who will only get a cat from a shelter, they can't see the attraction of pure breeds which I respect, used to think that way myself, there are too many un wanted cats out there. On the other hand why should I feel guilty for buying 2 Ragdolls, I love them just as much as my little moggie. -- Luv'n'Stuff *~*SooZy*~* New Pictures added every few days http://community.webshots.com/user/ragdollcatsuk "Joe Pitt" wrote in message .. . "Yngver" wrote in message ... "Cat Protector" wrote: So, you have never seen a Ragdoll in a shelter? Are you still saying that a purebred is better than a rescue cat and therefore people should go to a breeder for a certain type of cat? That isn't at all what she said. Thank you for reading my post correctly :-) I hate to burst your bubble here but many, if not all shelter cats have personalities. But since you seem insistent on purebreds some have been known to end up in shelters as well. Very few. Most cats labeled purebred in shelters are not. Also, if you adopt from a breeder you may be guaranteeing that a cat in a shelter might not find a good and loving home. That argument presumes that the person who buys from a breeder would have adopted from a shelter as an alternative. Perhaps not. your right my partner said a Ragdoll or nothing! |
