Default Happy New Year

Since I probably won't be here tonight and will have to drive around a
bunch of drunks tonight.

I wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR

Best wishes to you as well. May all your drunks be willing to go home
at a reasonable hour in a reasonable state.

Same here from us! It's just after 7.30pm and I have finished making
ready for the New Year's Eve party (Okay I might have forgot
something....Last year 5 minutes before 8.00 i realised there was no
butter and had to run and get some), the food is done (just a simple
buffet you know French bread (with butter) and a selection of meats
and cheeses , a couple of quiches, nuts, crisps, breadsticks, chips
n;dips, some raw vegetable also for the dips, fruit cake that sort of
thing) the fridge is loaded with beers, the sounds are ready, the cats
are ready (scrounging skills that were working well on Boxing Day have
been rehearsed and improved upon where needed), Dave is almost ready
(moaning about the people coming round but he;ll be fine once they're
here), the flat is ready....And if I haven't forgotten anything I'm
ready

Guests start arriving at 8.00 so that;s when the fun starts!

So see you all next year and have A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Lesley

Same to you, Matthew. I was invited to my neighbours for a NY party
tonight but I am purely too tired to go.
Given that they know I will not be coming, they say they'll try and keep the
noise down at midnight so I can sleep.
That's nice of them, isn't it?

Don't envy you your job tonight at all. This is probably when not being a
little pipsqueak size man might come in handy.
