Scooter's face in the window
Most mornings I bike off to work and the last thing I see when I look
back at the house is Scooter watching from the upstairs window. I have a cat perch on the window and that one is used almost exculsively by Scooter, so I see that little black tuxedo face watching me pedal away down the block. It's one of his favorite spots. The others like to watch out the back of the house overlooking the backyard, and I understand that because they get to see more birds and squirrels and such, but Scooter came off the street so I guess he remembers walking around out there. I don't let him out anymore because that street is pretty dangerous; he can go out the back with the others because I have it fenced in. But the front of the house is still his main concern. |

Felix spent a lot of time on window sills while he was transitioning to being an indoor cat. It was as though he could do something about maurading dogs and other cats if he were there. Toci |

When I still lived in an apartment in west Tennessee (ground floor, they were all ground floor in that apartment complex) Persia would sit on the windowsill when it was time for me to come home. It was quite endearing to see her sitting there. My [then] neighbor even commented on how her little boy loved to see her in that window. Jill |
