Don't know when I'll be back, but by the time I see the purrs I
purrrobably won't need them, so don't worry about it too much. Aside
from a slight pain in the calf muscle, I'm in good strength and spirits,
and yes, I will take it as easy as possible under the circumstances.
Hope to see you soon.

Fangu all. I had a bit ov a wait at da hospital since they had three
ambulances come in just about the same time I got there and this is just a
small town hospital, but they had furry modern equipment and building. I
wus impressed, cus it dusn't look like much frum da outside, but apparently
they put the money where it counts.
Da good news is that I am home and I get three days off werk. I will use da
rest wisely, exceptin I has to go to da farmacy tomorrow. That's part uv
the bad news. Da hooman TED sed I has to start wearin elastic stockings and
that I will likely have trouble with my legs the rest ov my life. I can
belief him cuz my father was the same way. Those elastic stockings are
going to be expensive too.
Ennyway, I'll be keepin the leg up as much as possible and doin as little
walking as possible under the circumstances. That's goin to be hard since I
live alone and if anything is going to get dun, I has to do it.
So all is fairly well and I expect I'll be around fur a while, but I aged a
lot this past week.

Don't know if I can post anymore since my Usenet provider seems to be not
functioning well. Anyway,
Yes I am feeling much better and can walk around without the cane right
now. I just missed a bus though, and it gave me some time to write to you
today. I did have a clot in a vein in my leg, but blood thinners and
elevation are seeming to dissolve it. There are some other things that will
need attention for the rest of my life, but I'll do what I can. I am now
officially an old man.
