Kan I aks fur sum purrs pleeze?
Wow, That's interesting to know.
He doesn't want to go back on anti-depressants because of all the bad side effects and is working to find someone to talk to about this. He's tried SO many and they just don't work for him. No worries, we'll both be okay Hug Kyla "Granby" With all due respect to people and their opinions, don't let anyone tell you that natural remedies do not interfere with medication. Before Bob died he was on a heart medicine and, as I take garlic tablets from November until May, to help me from getting colds (something my grandma started only back then, she fed us so much a day). Anyway, Bob decided to do this too. After about three days, he became deathly ill. When it was all said and done, it was the combination on his pill and the garlic. He stopped the garlic and got better. Another friend took medicine for his blood pressure. He was Mexican and ate a lot of cayenne (?) pepper. He began to have problems and by elimination things, found the pepper was the problem. If your husband is on disability there are options for him. It will be a long journey to find the right medicine but, start the trip, it will be worth it in the end. He and you will be much happier. You might want to check with your local public (probably county) clinic. The one around here uses a sliding scale for patients with no insurance, so fees can be as little as a few dollars per appointment. Adam, long-time depression sufferer He has Medicare and another insurance suppliment and is trying to find someone to help him. Thank you for your advice. Kyla |

Kyla, even this little one horse town, actually no horse town, has a county
mental health clinic. If the depression is as bad as you say, you really need to talk to someone. It is no worse needing help in this area than if you were a diabetic and needing help with that. I can bet that you can take all that natural medications you can afford and it won't help much. My husband had Medicare and we were able to get him help. Do you have a minister friend or such that can help direct you? Am just very concerned that if your husband doesn't get treatment it will be so bad for both of you. That is all I have to say and hope it will help a bit. "Mosey =^. .^=" wrote in message . .. Kan I aks fur sum purrs pleeze?
Yes they do. A couple of them nearly killed me a few years ago.
That's why I go to a naturopath now. I had acidf reflux that had led to ulcers before and the mainstream doctors were trying to give me xeveral drugs to deal with it. One of them gave me problems with my kidneys and if I'd kept taking it I probably would have died, or needed a kidney transplant. Rooibus tea, from South Africa, fixed my kidneys. When I got to Ottawa, I started going to a naturopathic clinic, and they said I had to cut down on my dairy product intake and stop drinking coffee. Soon after I noticed that I wasn't taking any of the antacids anymore. The problem has gone away without any medication of any kind, just a change to a healthier lifestyle. That's what I'm talking about. Fred On Wednesday 14 May 2008 17:27, Mosey =^. .^= wrote: Hmmm Paw haz teyed lots uf medicaxtionz n none wurk fur him. Yeah, It's difficult to pinpoint what goes on with depression. The people saying it's a checmical imbalance are the people trying to sell a chemical cure, and the real answer will probably be elsewhere. There may be a chemical imbalance detectable with the depression, but that is not the cause. Something has to create the chemical imbalance. I think the answer can be spiritual or ... whatever. If I knew the answer to that one I'd be in the business of curing it. -- Peace, Fred -- Peace, Fred |
