A New Day Has Begun

There is light in the East, thus dawn can't be too far behind. It has
been a WONDERFUL Ball this year. Misty the Black Panther says good-by
to all her new found as well as old friends. Wishing thwem all Bast's
Blessings and hoping to see them at the next Jellical Ball. For the
next three days she will spend in meditation. She makes her way out of
Notre Dame a grey ghost against the brightening sky. She heads back to
the obscure alley where she veiled the Teleporter; she set the LED
controls to take her back to Tucson, AZ....

There is a blinding flash back in the apartment as the computer winks
to life. Calypso lets out a low growl until Misty steps out of the
Teleporter. She taps a few hot keys that erases any trace of the
Teleporter's existence, then rubs against Calypso's face who then lays
down and goes back to sleep, content that all is right with the world.
Ah if ONLY DOGS could talk what a tale he would have to tell, of
machines that appear out of nowhere and cats that step into them then
disappear, and out of them and re-appear.....
