Wurd jus came in. Pinto-Chan is wun luky boy kittah! He gotted out
befur he gotted crushed anna ran uphill as fur as he could. He jus kept
runnin and runnin anna stopped on dat oder side of dat mountain. He
finded a man wif 4 kittahs who tooked him in. Dat 2foot tooked in sum
udder 8 kittahs dat finded him.

Dey ran outta regular kittah fuds anna been eatin dried fish mashed wif
dashi an rice but dey's all well.

(Human note, with the usual aplomb of the Japanese, they are caring for
the pets as best as they can as well as the people. This person took
pictures and put them on the local billboard and my friend found her
