Break a leg, Shadow

Last Thursday Shadow had the steel pins removed from his leg bones. By
Monday evening, the incision had healed and he’d stopped limping, so I
released him Tuesday morning. Total cost: over $700. I had no luck
domesticating him, which makes me sad because he is a really
affectionate and playful cat. He just doesn't like humans. At least not
the human who keeps capturing him and taking him to the vet.

At least he has a chance. Keep trying to feed him now, maybe you can gain
his trust eventually. Do you have a little shelter for him? I'm glad it
worked out healing wise.

Bless you for spending all that time and money on him. He is a lucky boy. I
agree with Karen, maybe keep feeding him and give him more time. It sounds
like you love him, so I think he might come around. All creatures respond to
genuine love eventually.
