Flyer for Conan?
I posted this on the big long thread that keeps changing title but now
that I see some people are posting adoption info Conan on various websites and sources on their own, wouldn't it make more sense to have a standard flyer to distribute? I don't know if the group who has Conan wants the help of anyone on this ng but, if they do, it would be logical to go about it in a cohesive manner: I guess putting flyers up is our only option but, really, say I put a flyer up in AZ...someone sees it and tells someone they know in California about it...an interested person contacts me...I then contact Monica by email...she then contacts interested party by email at some point...email exchange occurs...it seems like a lot of steps involved to just get to that point...and a little complicated...anyone that contacts *me* gets virtually no info since I have none to contribute. It's all a little nebulous. If putting flyers up is the only thing they would like us to do then it would be far simpler/more effective if one of them made a standard flyer up since they are the ones with the criteria and knowledge. They could make it available as a pdf file and anyone who wanted to could print it out and post it wherever. If I made one on my own it would have to say something like, "There's a cat somewhere in Southern California that needs a home but I don't know what kind of home he needs or where he is located but I can probably get you in contact with someone who knows these things." No one's going to respond to that; they can go to their local shelter much easier. *If* you want our help and I realize Monica did not request it but someone else did (although I don't know if they are in a position to be requesting help), give us something to go on. If you'd like but, as I said, I have no info and I'm not that fond of being the middle man who has no information and just having to say, "Duh, I dunno nuttin' 'bout it." I was just saying, *if* the group wants help, they should provide the flyer. I don't even know if the group wants help since that request did not come from Monica but, rather, someone else. Canace |

Canace No problem, the flyer is here is anyone wants it, but I don't think its necessary as they have their own agenda and it doesn't really matter who responds to the flyer, if it did Monica or Dan or their imaginary friend would have provided contact information by now. |

Canace You do not have possession of the cat you are attempting to get a home for. Might as well say "Extraordinary red tabby needs a great home. Sign up here to get on the list for a cat we do not own" |
