I'm feeling sad today

Thanks, Melissa. I do have other "cat friends." I have Wally....and after
Scooter's passing, I adopted Ernie. They are wonderful but I always hold a
special place in my heart for Scooter.

Sue, I've been there, I know that sadness, too. This coming March 26
will mark the third anniversary of Isadora's trip across the bridge,
and April sixth will be the first anniversary of Panther's departure.
So I totally understand your sadness today. I'm sure many people here
do, also.

Just a thought, if you are without a current cat friend, a new
whiskery face can be a great anodyne for the pain of losing a beloved
companion! Every cat becomes special in their own way.

I'm glad to know you're not all alone, Sue. I have my two girls who
are great company and great comfort. Izzy and Pan were my first two
cats I adopted in my own right as an adult, and losing them definitely
hurt. Isadora was another such extra special cat.

Thinking of you and Scooter, albeit a day late. Anniversaries are hard;
in my experience, the 1st anniversary is hard, but then it gets better
