Sardines fro Christmas

Probably Kenzie's most favorite treat, which she only gets about 2 or 3
times a year, are sardines. I gave her one on Christmas Eve., and the
rest of the tin throughout Christmas Day. She wasn't impressed with her
cat toys (sigh....) but the sardines made up for it.

She spent some very much treasured time in my lap while I was watching
some TV today, and even dozed off for awhile. She was purring in her
sleep, from time to time :-)

What a sweetheart she is!

One of our presents to our furbabies was one of those pricey little cans
of cat food for each cat, all his or her own, in a separate dish, each
one his or her favorite flavor! They loved the Feast and licked each
bowl clean.

I've never tried them for a treat before but bought a tin of sardines in
spring water for my gang when I got the ingredients for my contribution to
our holiday dinner. They didn't really like it. I can not temp Bonnie
(former feral) with any type of meat at all. Shamrock and Shadow tasted it
and then waited for their treat of chicken. Shamrock has discovered lately
he likes raw hearts and raw liver.
