cat has popping sound coming from one ear....constantly itching both ears

news:B2uog.4078$PO.2258@dukeread03... The vet did say the cat had a polyp or small growth there. He said I could go to a specialist to have it lasered out but that the cat was too old 11 to try to put her to sleep for the operation. I tried to look on the internet as to who does laser but couldn't find how to do it. What a strange vet, I wouldn't think an 11 year old cat is too old for a general at all. This year I had my Q (15YO) put under to have dental work done and Worf (14) sedated for an ECG. Neither had any problems of after effects. -- Niel H |

I agree with Neil. 11 is not too old. I had a 16 year old cat put
under for dental work. Go to another vet. Niel Humphreys wrote: "SD" wrote in message news:B2uog.4078$PO.2258@dukeread03... The vet did say the cat had a polyp or small growth there.
